SUMMARY:Friday Mountain Biking at Mt Abrams
DESCRIPTION:This program is designed for 5th and 6th-graders who are comfortable riding independently at Mt Abrams. Riders will not have direct supervision on the mountain. Riders will meet at CPS at 2:30 (Telstar students can take a bus from Telstar to CPS). Riders will be transported to and from Mt Abrams by Maine West Project Play. Pick up will be at CPS at 5pm. \n\n\n\nAll participants must be NENSA members in order to be covered by Maine West Project Play club liability insurance. Participants will need to purchase a Mt Abrams lift ticket\, and have a bike (or rent one) and a helmet. \n\n\n\nThe first day is this Friday\, 9/19\, and we run through Friday\, 10/10 (no school that day\, but we can still go mountain biking!) SUMMARY:NENSA Introductory Rollerski Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Join NENSA and Maine West on the afternoon of Saturday\, September 21st for an action-packed rollerski session in Bethel\, Maine. Whether you’re brand new to skiing on wheels or already cruising like a pro\, this is your chance to build skills\, play games\, and celebrate ski season before the snow flies. Expect a mix of technique work\, fun games\, and community spirit\, plus plenty of smiles rolling around town. \n\n\n\nThis clinic is perfect for young skiers ages 9 and up who want to try rollerskiing or build on their skills. We’ll cover the basics\, like gliding\, stopping\, and turning\, through instruction\, games\, and agility activities. The clinic runs from 1:00–3:00 PM\, rollerskis will be available for participants to borrow.  Please be sure to bring your ski boots\, and bike helmet. Poles are optional.
