SUMMARY:Masters Fall Nordic Training Camp
DESCRIPTION:This is designed to be a fun\, casual weekend of Nordic training in western Maine! Enjoy the fall foliage\, some great company\, and get a jump on Nordic season. Plan on a long\, classic roller ski to a hike in Evans Notch on Saturday 10/4. Sunday morning\, 10/5\, will begin with a technique session with Ben Kamilewicz (Director of Nordic at Gould Academy). Then we will head to Sunday River River Ski Area for some ski walking/bounding/hiking. We will have a training talk Saturday with legendary coach\, Dick Taylor\, later in the day on Saturday (details TBD).  \n\n\n\n Participants must be NENSA members and are responsible for securing their own food and lodging. Maine West Project Play will provide van transportation to training sessions from a group meeting location in Bethel. We will also provide van support during our long roller ski.  \n\n\n\n This training camp is open to adult skiers. Teenage skiers are welcome to join with a parent. You don’t need to be an expert roller skier to enjoy this camp but some experience is necessary. If you are an experienced Nordic skier but are new to roller skiing\, we can work with that. Registration is by donation. Reach out with any questions. info@mainewestprojectplay.org  \n\n\n\n Looking forward to seeing you! \n\n\n\nRegister here: https://mainewestprojectplay.org/masters-fall-nordic-training-camp/
